We are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to join our team located in Tacoma, Washington. This role is pivotal in the financial planning and management of our operations, with the individual taking on tasks such as handling audits, starting budgets, and overseeing the financial aspects of our organization. The successful candidate will also have a responsibility towards maintaining our accounting software systems and ensuring the smooth running of accounting functions. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing annual audits and ensuring they are carried out accurately and on time

• Initiating budgets at the start of the financial year and ensuring they are adhered to

• Managing the financial aspects of our multi-million dollar organization

• Ensuring the smooth running of accounting functions and accounts payable

• Maintaining and improving our accounting software systems, including transitioning from one accounting software to another

• Directing a team of finance professionals and ensuring their productivity and efficiency

• Handling general accounting tasks and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date

• Overseeing the budget processes and making necessary adjustments when needed

• Utilizing your auditing skills to ensure financial transparency and accuracy within our organization

• Implementing and maintaining a system for accounts payable ensuring all payments are made on time and records are kept accurately.


The salary range for this position is $110k to $120k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 8 days of paid sick leave and 12 paid holidays per calendar year.

• Proven experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing and developing Annual Budgets
• Strong knowledge and experience with Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation
• Proficiency with Great Plains Dynamics
• Solid grounding in General Accounting practices and principles
