Job Overview

An internationally recognized non-profit organization seeks a seasoned finance leader to drive its mission forward by ensuring financial integrity. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accountability for accounting and financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, audit, tax compliance, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities.
  • Support timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, comparing actual results against budgeted projections.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to the Executive Director, Senior Leadership team, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
  • Present at all Board of Directors meetings and lead the Finance Committee, coordinating monthly meetings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit of financial statements, including the A-133 single audit.
  • Work with Finance and IT staff, as well as software providers, to implement necessary computer applications for maintaining proper records and internal controls.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in related fields, preferably in non-profit accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong people management.
  • Experience with software conversions.
Compensation

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
