Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Onboarding Coordinator in the Healthcare/NHS industry, based in Norfolk, Virginia. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations related to onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, state, and federal government requirements, and maintaining accurate records of data.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and supporting the day-to-day operations of the onboarding processes.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements.
• Reviewing and drafting new processes, procedures, and policies related to onboarding.
• Identifying potential risks, improvements, and efficiencies in the onboarding process and bringing suggestions forward for review.
• Processing various compliance screenings such as driving records, background checks, Office of Inspector General reports for new hires.
• Managing all talent management systems' files, auditing, and purging according to policy and state and federal government requirements.
• Providing onboarding support, including providing metrics for functional areas.
• Updating and maintaining personnel systems with personal data, ensuring the accuracy of all data entered in systems.
• Assisting in training new recruiting and talent management staff on onboarding procedures and requirements.
• Utilizing the Applicant Track System for all onboarding tasks and maintaining I-9 Compliance with E-Verify.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an onboarding or HR-related role within the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrable proficiency in auditing processes and procedures.
• Proven experience in conducting background checks.
• Familiarity with benefit functions within the healthcare sector.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Track Systems.
• Extensive experience in managing onboarding processes.
• Ability to perform I-9 audits effectively.
• Knowledge of I-9 compliance requirements.
• Experience with E-Verify process.
• Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems.
