Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team in Uptown Charlotte. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking to establish a long-term career in a growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, managing outstanding invoices, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and post daily customer payments (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers) into accounting systems.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Prepare and send customer invoices in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring prompt collections.
Generate and review aging reports, addressing any discrepancies.
Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues or disputes.
Collaborate with the finance team to streamline receivables processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
1-2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or accounting role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
