Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and passionate School Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for the 2024/2025 fiscal year. As a BCBA in a school setting, you will design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans for students. This role requires a deep understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' behavioral needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Implement and supervise ABA therapy programs to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development in a school environment.
- Provide direct supervision and training to Behavior Technicians and other staff members to ensure the fidelity of ABA interventions.
- Collaborate with students, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in behavior analysis.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
- Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA therapy and supervising staff.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying current with industry trends.
