Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities- Support students' learning, social development, and mental and behavioral health using problem-solving, assessment, and data-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral status.
- Provide crisis intervention support for individual students and school communities as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, education, and psychology. They will be able to work effectively with diverse populations and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
