We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Implementation team. This is a hybrid role working from our Alpharetta, GA office.

SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator contributes to the success of a wide variety of client project initiatives by interacting with potential, new, and existing DataScan clients. Projects include new system implementations, system migrations, business acquisitions or expansions, and new business initiatives.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of software solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and be eager to learn and grow in the field of project management and DataScan’s industry and product offerings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Planning: Help define project goals, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Create project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate project activities: Track the progress of tasks, ensure team members are on schedule, and follow up with stakeholders for updates.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client project managers, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders: Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
  • Track and report project progress: Monitor project milestones and report updates to Manager.
  • Handle project documentation: Keep project documentation organized and up to date, including meeting notes, project schedules, issue logs, status reports, and lessons learned artifacts.
  • Manage project risks: Assist in identifying project risks and helping to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage more than one simple to moderately complex project concurrently
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience managing external client projects
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; Diagramming Tools (Visio, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
