We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Doral, Florida. As a Payroll Specialist, your primary role will be to manage the full cycle of payroll processes and maintain accurate and up-to-date records. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setting following a period of training. This role presents a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the full cycle of payroll processes across multiple states.

• Use UKG and other accounting software systems to process payroll.

• Maintain accurate records of payroll and employee data.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Liaise with employees and management to resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues.

• Handle benefit functions related to payroll.

• Continuously monitor and update payroll systems as necessary.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure all accounting functions are carried out effectively.

• Regularly update knowledge of multistate payroll laws and regulations.

• Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll information.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in handling Accounting Functions
• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and related processes
• Ability to manage Multistate Payroll
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
