LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced commercial collections professional for a growing client on the west side of Columbus. The Senior Commercial Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing a large volume of commercial accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in account reconciliation and proficiency in ERP systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership potential and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $26 and $30/hr. This role is also hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days working from home per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the collections process for a large volume of commercial accounts.
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize ERP systems to track and manage collections activities and account statuses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and address any issues.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on collections performance and account statuses.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance collections efficiency.
  • Mentor and train junior collections staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in commercial collections.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial collections, with a focus on managing a large volume of accounts.
  • Strong experience in account reconciliation
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
