We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Chemist Specialist to join our Content Operations Team in Columbus, Ohio. This role will play a crucial part in determining substance identity and assigning CAS Registry Numbers, thereby bolstering CAS's world-class collection of scientific data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze chemical substance data to determine and assign CAS Registry Numbers
  • Collect, organize, and review substance information, chemical legislation, and relevant scientific data
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field with organic chemistry coursework experience
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Exceptional scientific comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in customer communications - verbal and written
  • Strong learning agility and ability to apply complex scientific concepts and policies
