Leave Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leave of Absence Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing the leave process, including FMLA, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage all aspects of the leave of absence process, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other leave programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave of absence inquiries and provide guidance on leave policies and procedures.
Coordinate with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of leave requests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date leave records and documentation.
Provide training and support to managers and employees on leave policies and procedures.
Monitor and report on leave trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leave of absence management, including FMLA.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and leave management systems.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
