LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in North Portland to hire a Staffing Coordinator. We are seeking an individual with a strong HR or recruiting background, particularly someone who has hands-on experience with employee onboarding. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment and has a solid understanding of recruitment and staff management. The Portland office focuses on delivering exceptional service to clients in the construction industry, and we need a dedicated professional who can manage both administrative and staffing responsibilities effectively.

Position: Staffing Coordinator
Location: Portland, OR (Fully onsite)
Duration: Temporary 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Dress Code: Business casual
Compensation: $22-$30 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Onboarding:

  • Spearhead the onboarding process for new employees.

  • Coordinate pre-employment physicals and ensure background check information is collected and reviewed.

  • Conduct New Employee Orientation and safety training.

  • Set up new employees with uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Communicate new hire details to team leads and provide access cards.

• Agency Coordination:

  • Serve as the main contact for staffing agencies and manage on-site temp coordination.

• Exit Interviews:

  • Conduct exit interviews for hourly employees and track key dates for new hires.

• Recruiting Guidance:

  • Offer recommendations on effective recruiting tactics and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Staffing and/or Administrative roles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in recruitment and employee onboarding is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.



Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
