Staffing Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is a leading provider of recruitment solutions in the construction industry, partnering with clients to deliver exceptional service and meet their staffing needs. We are seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team in Portland, OR.
About the RoleThis temporary 6-month position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled recruiter or HR professional to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating administrative and staffing responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment and staff management, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding: Spearhead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring seamless transitions into the company. Coordinate pre-employment physicals, background checks, and New Employee Orientation. Set up new employees with uniforms and PPE, and communicate details to team leads.
- Agency Coordination: Serve as the main contact for staffing agencies, managing on-site temp coordination and ensuring smooth delivery of staff.
- Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews for hourly employees, tracking key dates and providing valuable insights for future improvements.
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will offer recommendations on effective recruiting tactics and strategies, helping to drive business growth and success. Your expertise will be invaluable in attracting top talent and maintaining a high-performing team.
Requirements- 2-3 years of experience in staffing and/or administrative roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in recruitment and employee onboarding is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $24-$32 per hour, based on industry standards and market rates in the Portland area. This figure takes into account the level of experience required and the specific responsibilities of the position.
