The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel data entry and a minimum of 2 years of previous international export logistic coordinator experience (however, it is not required).


The business has many E-commerce clients in Asia, especially China and Vietnam, so the team is looking for a bilingual who can speak Chinese or Vietnamese (business level and above).


This position is full time (11:00 AM -7:00 PM on weekdays. We might ask you to do over time if it is necessary). Also, this is a longer temp position with medical and dental insurance, short term disability, life insurance.


Responsibilities for Entry Level Logistics Coordinator:

  • Prepare and process all required documents
  • Support the operations department personnel in various roles and responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies
  • Track incoming Air and Ocean Cargos (domestic/international shipments)
  • Analyze and consult transport costs and prepare quotes for invoicing
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, and customer issues
  • Other duties assigned by management


Qualifications for Entry Level Logistics Coordinator:

  • Must be proficient in Excel and Data Entry
  • Previous work experience in international logistics (does not include shipments to/from Canada and Mexico)
  • Speaks more than business level of Chinese or Vietnamese is huge plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, and another related field is preferred, but an Associate degree is acceptable
  • Proficient in MS Office software including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of logistics procedures and optimization is plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
