Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our non-profit team located in Toledo, Ohio. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining precise records, processing applications, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of customer applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Utilize skills in 'ADP - Financial Services', 'ADP Workforce Now', 'ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode', 'Ceridian', 'HRMS', 'About Time', 'Auditing', 'Background Checks', 'Benefit Functions', 'Customer Service' to perform tasks effectively
• Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process
• Assist in auditing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Support benefit functions within the HR department
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
• Utilize HRMS system for data entry, report generation, and data analysis.• Demonstrated proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience in utilizing HRMS and About Time tools
• Proficient in carrying out auditing tasks
• Ability to perform background checks in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
• Understanding and execution of benefit functions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Expertise in using Ceridian software
• Ability to work in a non-profit environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Experience in human resources or related field preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
