Seeking an Administrative Assistant, for our client, this a two-month Part-time contract position – hours 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Pay $29.00/hour

 Job Description:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Logistics team by maintaining accurate data and facilitating smooth shipping operations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to our efficiency and effectiveness.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Logistics team in maintaining and entering data for all prior day shipments into the shipping log.
  • Process Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments with outside carriers.
  • Track returns, communicate with customers to set up pickups, and enter data into the Returns spreadsheet as needed.
  • Ensure all shipping documents are scanned and properly stored in the system.
  • Answer phones and provide support as needed, including organizing/filing paperwork and signing in drivers during busy periods.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
