We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Specialist in Vancouver, Washington. As an Application Support Specialist, you will primarily focus on maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the Property Management department's critical applications- AppFolio. This role involves optimizing the use of AppFolio, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data security and consistency. This company prefers someone onsite 5 days a week but can be flexible for certain accommodations.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily support and maintenance of the AppFolio application

• Identify and implement new workflows, reports, API integrations, and marketplace add-ons in AppFolio to align with business goals.

• Implement data validation checks, perform regular audits, and identify discrepancies to maintain high-quality data standards across all systems.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to end-users on application functionality and best practices.

• Manage the department’s SharePoint environment, including site updates and knowledgebase management.

• Provide administration, configuration, and support for smaller departmental applications such as Z-Inspector and Tenant Tech.

• Monitor for updates and enhancements to applications, test and validate changes to ensure compatibility and functionality within the environment and business processes.

• Provide training and guidance to end-users on application features, new updates, and best practices.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.

• Implement and uphold data security and access controls across all applications, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.

• Conduct periodic security assessments and assist in audits when necessary

  1. 2+ years of technical AppFolio Experience.
  2. Prior experience implementing new workflows, reports, and API integrations within AppFolio
  3. Prior experience developing processes and procedures
  4. Strong proficiency in Office 365 -SharePoint knowledge preferred
  5. 4+ years in Property Management
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills
  7. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
