As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing processes and overseeing suitable purchasing conditions.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of previous working experience in the building materials retail or merchandising industry, as well as excellent customer service skills and proficiency with MS Office. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on years of experience and education.

Key responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include:

  • Oversight of the PO process as needed for procurement of desired products
  • Review confirmation of PO receipt from vendors to ensure costs, product selection, and terms align with the PO
  • Partnership with Buyer/Category Manager to resolve disputes above threshold
  • Representation of the company in a professional manner when interacting with vendors and internal customers
