Developmental Support Specialist

As a Developmental Support Specialist at Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCFWA), you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of young children.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
The salary for this position is estimated at approximately $42,000-$45,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to pursue a CDA or WA State Initial Certificate in ECE within two years
- One year of experience working with groups of children 3-5 years old in an early childhood setting preferred
