Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced and passionate Fundraising Director to work with a client on a contract basis. This role will focus solely on nonprofit fundraising and development, with a primary responsibility of overseeing their existing fund and identifying strategies to secure additional funding. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships, developing innovative fundraising strategies, and engaging diverse donor communities. Must be willing to work onsite (hybrid schedule) in Atlanta, GA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the current fund, ensuring effective utilization and compliance with donor requirements. Track fund performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Create and implement a strategic fundraising plan to diversify revenue streams and increase overall funding. Set measurable goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. Develop personalized engagement strategies to enhance donor loyalty and giving.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities. Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding, and manage reporting requirements for successful grants.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events designed to attract new donors and retain existing supporters. Ensure campaigns align with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create outreach materials that effectively communicate our mission and funding needs. Utilize social media and digital platforms to enhance fundraising efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and fundraising progress. Analyze data to assess campaign effectiveness and prepare regular reports for leadership and the board.
  • Work closely with the executive team and board of directors to align fundraising activities with organizational priorities and to promote a culture of philanthropy within the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising and development, with a successful track record in securing funds and meeting fundraising goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in grant writing and donor engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends within the nonprofit sector.
  • Proficiency in fundraising software and donor management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
