Position Overview:

As a Commercial Sales Representative, you will drive business growth by selling products and services to existing and new commercial clients. You'll play a key role in identifying and generating leads, building lasting relationships, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities for Commercial Sales Representative:
  • Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
  • Generate sales from company-provided leads and self-identified opportunities.
  • Consult with potential customers to assess needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate product or service functions based on customer needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and issue resolution.
  • Perform pest control treatments at the point of sale if necessary to secure business or assist in emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed sales activity reports in the CRM system.
  • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts and updates.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve customer complaints.
  • Stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends.
Qualifications for Commercial Sales Representative:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.
  • Required: Minimum of 3 years of commercial sales experience.
  • NYSDEC Technician and/or Pesticide Applicator Certification is a plus. Certification will be required within 4 months of hire (training support provided).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation expertise.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and related software.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
  • Mobility required for both office work and occasional pest control tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
