Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the automotive industry, based in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accounts payable records, handling high volume transactions, and managing purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process high volume accounts payable transactions in a timely manner
• Use relevant software to maintain and update customer credit records
• Handle coding of invoices and ensure they match with purchase orders
• Enter and process vendor invoices with attention to detail
• Oversee and manage payable invoices on a monthly basis
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Learn and adapt to new software as the company transitions to new systems
• Ensure all financial transactions are compliant with company policies and regulations.• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with coding invoices is crucial
• Ability to process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Expertise in managing payable invoices
• Familiarity with preparing and analyzing monthly invoices
• Experience in entering invoices into the system
• Understanding and knowledge of purchase orders
• Proficient in using financial software and MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
