About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Activar. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the thermoplastic and metal distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILD STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY DECISION MAKERS AND ACT AS LIAISON FOR MAJOR COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ACCOUNTS.
  • IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND EXTEND INITIATIVES WITH THE COMPANY.
  • FACILITATE PROGRAMS TO GATHER REQUIREMENTS AND FEATURES FROM CUSTOMERS TO AUGMENT SALES, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT, AND BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIPS AS NEEDED.

Requirements:

  • 5+ YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED; BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, MARKETING, OR RELATED FIELD DESIRED.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF PLASTICS INDUSTRY PREFERRED.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
