- Emergency Response: Be on call as required in case of emergency, responding promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the integrity of our operations.
- Special Projects: Oversee special projects, start-ups, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.
- Production Scheduling: Plan production schedules and staffing requirements, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
- Special Tasks: Perform various special tasks as assigned by the Shift Manager, supporting the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Compliance: Comply with all written corporate and plant policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Food Safety and Grounds Maintenance: Ensure plant compliance in food safety and assist in the upkeep of the complex grounds, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies, setting an example for all employees.
- Product Packaging and Labeling: Follow the written specification for packaging and labeling of products, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Suspicious Situations: Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to the plant manager, ensuring prompt action to prevent potential issues.
- Work Environment: Work in a wet/damp environment and a normal room temperature environment, adapting to changing conditions as needed.
- Physical Demands: Stand/walk 100% of the workday, with occasional lifting of various weights as needed.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability in successfully leading a team, driving results and growth.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Creative and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and related software, with the ability to navigate and utilize various systems.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.
- Leadership Experience: 1+ years of leadership experience in poultry processing, with a proven track record of success.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Poultry Science, Food Science, Management, or a related field, with a strong foundation in leadership and operations.
