Continuous Improvement Manager

The Continuous Improvement Manager is a key role at Peco Foods, responsible for driving process excellence and operational efficiency across the plant. This position plays a critical role in leading Six Sigma/Lean continuous improvement projects, working closely with plant management to select and charter projects, and leveraging established leadership skills to build, develop, and lead teams to execute solutions through data-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with all departments to drive continuous improvement through yield and quality improvements, cost and variation reduction, and process optimization.
- Establish and maintain statistical process control on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide departments with statistical data and analysis on current processes and products, as well as process capability.
- Manage existing and new processes, directing continuous improvement activities to improve process and product compliance performance.
- Maintain effective communication within and between various functions and areas in the plant.
- Ensure processes and projects are focused on areas of opportunity for increased revenue, product growth, and cost savings.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in an industrial environment required.
- Strong computer skills and presentation skills required.
- Ability to work with department heads to meet safety, production, quality, and yield goals.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Lead by example, accept and delegate responsibility, and display sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Problem solve efficiently with sound follow-up.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- 1-3 years leadership experience in a supervisory role.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Standing/sitting/walking 100% of the workday.
- Ability to work in damp, warm, wet environments, and also room temperature.
- Some travel required as needed or assigned by Plant Manager or Corporate Manager.
