Position Overview:
Bush Veterinary Neurology Service is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to enhance our exceptional team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will:
  • Administer surgical anesthesia and provide post-operative care.
  • Conduct essential veterinary procedures such as venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
  • Perform drug calculations and medication administration.
  • Monitor vital signs and document any changes in patient condition.
  • Deliver high-quality medical and nursing care to our patients.

About You:
You possess a solid understanding of veterinary technician duties and can work both independently and collaboratively. Your adaptability and eagerness to learn are key attributes, along with your ability to maintain a positive demeanor in all situations. Experience with EzyVet and SmartFlow is advantageous.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensing.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge in anesthesia and patient care.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to adapt to new challenges and work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check and drug screening. A valid high school diploma or GED is required.
