Position Overview:
Bush Veterinary Neurology Service is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to enhance our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in veterinary practices and be proficient in:
  • Venipuncture
  • IV Catheter Placement
  • Medication Administration
  • Monitoring Vital Signs
  • Recognizing and Documenting Patient Changes
  • Delivering High-Quality Medical Care

As a Veterinary Technician, you will work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating sound judgment to ensure optimal patient care. You should be adaptable to the unique needs of each patient, eager to learn, and maintain a positive demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $30/hr, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
  • A current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensing
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an LVT or equivalent experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Strong skills in anesthesia and patient care
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Additional Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and provide valid documentation. A background check and drug screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
