Position Overview:
Bush Veterinary Neurology Service is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to enhance our exceptional team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Administering surgical anesthesia and overseeing post-operative care.
  • Performing essential veterinary technician duties such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and drug calculations.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting any changes in patient condition.
  • Delivering high-quality medical and nursing care to our patients.

About You:
You possess a solid foundation in veterinary practices and are capable of:
  • Working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adapting to the unique needs of each patient while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Utilizing EzyVet and SmartFlow software, which is advantageous.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensing.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
  • Extensive knowledge in anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheter placement.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.

Applicants must:
  • Be eligible to work in the United States with valid documentation.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Hold a valid high school diploma or GED.
