Position Overview:
This opportunity is aimed at filling future vacancies for janitorial roles across various shifts and locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
No specific qualifications are required for this position.

Education:
High School diploma is preferred.

Experience:
No prior experience is necessary for applicants.

  • A valid driver’s license from the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, or the jurisdiction of residence is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • The individual must be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Job Summary:
The janitor/cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in facility areas for various events organized by Community Bridge Inc. This role includes seasonal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, adhering to agency standards and industry best practices.
  • Manage waste disposal, including removing trash and debris; sweeping, mopping, and stripping floors; vacuuming, and using floor maintenance equipment to buff, wax, and polish surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, ensuring they are stocked and sanitized.
  • Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow established safety practices and maintenance guidelines while performing tasks.
  • Provide accurate information to staff as needed. The duties outlined are not exhaustive and may be adjusted by management.
