Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings to visualize metal shapes and tolerances.
  • Design jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.
  • Measure and mark metal stock for machining, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Set up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
  • Cut and shape blocks to specified dimensions, achieving a smooth finish.
  • Fitting and assembling tools and die parts, ensuring a seamless fit.
  • Inspect finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.
  • Conduct test runs with completed tools and dies, verifying functionality.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience working as a tool and die maker.
  • Proficiency in metalworking tools, including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
  • Experience using CAD software to design tools, molds, and dies.
Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate: $38-$52/hr.
