Main Responsibilities:

The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for:

  • Protecting and serving the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of North Carolina State University through law enforcement and crime prevention.
  • Patrolling the university campus and surrounding areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Responding to emergency calls and incidents, and providing assistance as needed.
  • Conducting investigations and gathering evidence to solve crimes and resolve incidents.
  • Collaborating with other law enforcement agencies and university departments to share information and resources.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
