Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the facility, and leading a team of warehouse personnel. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage the budget and resources for the warehouse department, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage warehouse personnel, ensuring high performance and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment or general inventory and shipping knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage employees.
  • Experience with inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
Working Conditions

This position primarily involves indoor work. While the work environment is generally quiet, employees may occasionally encounter periods of moderate noise levels.
