Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective warehouse functioning, managing a team of warehouse personnel, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Champion a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track inventory levels, movements, and discrepancies. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for process improvement to optimize warehouse operations and reduce waste.
  • Manage the warehouse budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a strong understanding of inventory management and shipping procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Physical Demands:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
