We are seeking a highly motivated Human Factors Design Specialist to join our team at MillenniumSoft. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for applying human-centered design principles to develop innovative and user-friendly products.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in human factors engineering and user experience design. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive user-centered product development, focusing on safety, efficacy, and user delight.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop human factors plans and execute usability testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create user profiles, environmental characterization, workflow mapping, task analysis, functional modeling, and use cases/scenarios.
  • Analyze usability studies and translate findings into user-needs/requirements, user risk, and/or design solutions related to the user interface.
  • Presentation of complex ideas to multiple levels within the company, including executive leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (human factors related degree preferred).
  • At least 2+ years of experience in human factors engineering or user experience design.
  • Working knowledge of applicable standards and industry guidance for medical devices and usability engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with medical devices.
  • Strong facilitation and analytic skills with an open mind.
  • Proficient knowledge of engineering first principles.
Location and Duration

Andover, MA - 12+ Months Contract.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
