At Entegee, we're looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in switch mode power supply design.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our experienced team on custom automation projects that push the boundaries of controls and robotic solutions. Your expertise in high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures will be invaluable in helping us deliver cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop VPS power supply products, including constructing circuits on breadboards for testing new electrical circuitry and conducting electrical evaluations of products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth introduction and manufacturing of highly reliable products.
  • Develop product planning schedules, draft test and qualification plans, and create objective specifications.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of power conversion design, including high-frequency magnetic design, circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, layout considerations, feedback control theory, and EMC compliance.
  • Excellent leadership skills as both a team player and individual contributor.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Pspice, OrCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB, and Excel.
  • Experience and working knowledge of firmware is a plus.
