The Howard University College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to contribute to cutting-edge research, train the next generation of specialists, and provide outstanding, quality patient care.

Our MFM program offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including perinatal consultations, genetic counseling, and prenatal care for patients with high-risk pregnancies.

Our Prenatal Diagnosis and Ultrasound Center provides all current diagnostic procedures, such as routine and targeted sonographic examination, amniocentesis, chronic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling, and fetal transfusion.

Our program's mission is to advance healthcare, improve outcomes, and shape the future of maternal and fetal care.

Key qualifications include:

  • Board certification or active candidate status for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Interest in working with a diverse patient population
  • Pursuit of an academic career and interest in resident and student teaching
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
