Our three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine provides comprehensive clinical and research training in this specialized field. As a fellow, you will participate in patient care in Labor & Delivery, NICU, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Follow-up Clinic, Cardiac Intensive Care (CICU), and ECMO. You will also engage in didactics, simulation training, round-table discussions, Neonatology seminars, workshops, journal clubs, and one-on-one teaching.

The Division of Neonatology at Children\u0027s National/GWU offers a unique opportunity for advanced training in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. Our program is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in this field.

To be eligible for this fellowship, you must have completed 3 years of Pediatric residency in an approved training program, have 23 letters of recommendation, have completed medical school in the U.S. or be ECFMG certified if an international medical graduate, and be able to obtain a District of Columbia unrestricted medical license prior to starting fellowship training.
