Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Accreditation Reviewer to join our team at URAC. As a Clinical Accreditation Reviewer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our accreditation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of accreditation applications, analyzing documentation and providing constructive feedback to applicants.
  • Participate in the development and revision of accreditation standards, ensuring they are relevant and effective.
  • Provide educational instruction and training to applicants, promoting a deep understanding of accreditation standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the accreditation process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying this knowledge to inform accreditation decisions and standards development.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a health-related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience and three years of managed care experience, including one of the following: utilization management, case management, discharge planning, disease management, health call center, independent review, quality management, accreditation, or a related managed care function.
  • Current license as a registered nurse in a state in the United States.
  • Certification in case management is preferred for Case Management and Disease Management Accreditation.
Working Conditions

This role requires extensive travel (70-80%) and sedentary work in an office environment, with moderate lifting (30 lbs. to 50 lbs.). The position also requires the ability to visually inspect surroundings, written materials, and electronic media.

The position requires Reviewers to enter health care facilities that mandate that the URAC Reviewer is vaccinated and updated on vaccines, including the COVID vaccine.
