MedStar Health seeks a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist II to provide direct patient care pharmacy services for a specialized patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services, including medication therapy management and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Mentor and train pharmacy residents and students.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical pharmacy practices and guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- 8-10 years of direct patient care experience in a specialty area.
- Board certification in area of specialty.
- PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in the District of Columbia.
Compensation
This position has a hiring range of $118,331 - $218,171.
