We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant Host to join our team at House of Blues. As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the flow of guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly
  • Utilize our reservation system to estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables
  • Market current and future shows, menu items, and retail by placing marketing literature on dining tables
  • Communicate with the kitchen and door host to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain a clean and organized host area, adhering to our high standards of safety and sanitation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, and guest relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple tasks and priorities
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Open Table and/or other reservation software
  • Point of Sales (POS) knowledge, preferably MICROS
  • Previous customer service or host experience
