Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the critical care setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adult patients, utilizing evidence-based practice standards and institutional guidelines.
- Obtain patient health histories, complete physical examinations, and document findings in accordance with hospital requirements.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, explaining the necessity, preparation, and anticipated effects to patients, families, staff, and healthcare learners.
- Perform approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures, documenting procedures in accordance with hospital requirements.
- Participate in quality/performance improvement activities and clinical research, contributing to the development and implementation of standards of care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia or Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP).
