We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of shaping the future of healthcare.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Document the delivery of care in individual medical records.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
