We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. Key Responsibilities- Lead the therapy staff by directing clinical care, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement.
- Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and productivity of clinical/administrative functions.
- Participate in and complete pre-admission screenings as requested and per company policies and procedures.
- Provide age-appropriate therapeutic interventions as directed by the plan of care.
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the rest of the team.
- Document the course of patient care, including progress made and continuing need for treatment.
- Identify and implement clinical program development needs and effectively schedule patient coverage.
- Assist with survey preparation and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Measure the success of training solutions through formal feedback and results.
- Direct the development of team members through structured activities, orientations, and in-services.
- Contribute to client relations and marketing activities.
- Monitor team members' licenses/certifications and memberships in applicable professional organizations.
- Assist with additional documentation requests and denial management.
- Recruit, screen, select, hire, train, coach, counsel, and develop a team of qualified and highly motivated individuals.
- Conserves resources by controlling cost, adhering to budgets, and using prudent judgment related to expenses incurred by the company.
- Review care plans daily to determine if changes in resident's daily care routine have been made on the care plan.
- Report any complaints, grievances, incidents, and/or suspected resident abuse to the Area Manager/Director of Health Services and/or the Executive Director immediately.
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in rehabilitation services and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- An Associate Degree in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- A valid and unencumbered state license.
- Current CPR Certification for healthcare providers.
