School Based Health Center Director

The Director of School Based Health Center will oversee the development, planning, and implementation of comprehensive school-based health care services. This role involves supervising staff, managing operational issues, developing policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Director will also be responsible for billing and financial management. Key responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of the program manual, agency handbook, and policies and procedures. The Director must be committed to providing cost-effective, timely, efficient, safe, patient-centered, culturally competent, equitable, and participatory health care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, reporting, and database management to support programmatic goals. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for supervising staff, including Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians, Navigators, and Case Managers. The Director will also collect and submit program data for statistical and narrative reports. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing, health, social service, or a related healthcare field, and two to five years of professional experience in the healthcare or human service field. The Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be expected to embody the values of the Family Health Center, including compassion, knowledge, equity, and inclusion. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can provide guidance and support to staff, and who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to families in a medically underserved community.
Key Responsibilities:
