Job Title: Director of Staff Development and Infection Prevention Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Staff Development and Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team at ODD Fellows Home of Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs for staff, as well as monitoring and implementing infection control programs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, implement, and evaluate education programs for staff
* Monitor and implement infection control programs
* Collaborate with department heads to evaluate and retrain employees with performance issues
* Maintain current education records of classes conducted and attendance of all personnel
* Work collaboratively with department heads to evaluate and retrain employees with performance issues

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Current registration in Massachusetts
* Infection Control Certification-C.I.C.
* R.N.B.S. desirable, graduation from accredited 3 year program or R.N.A.C. acceptable
* At least 3 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse
* Knowledge of Restorative Nursing Practices preferred
* Excellent written and oral communications skills required
