Auro Hotels is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join their team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and efficiently, using a positive and clear speaking voice to ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Employ operational and selling techniques to maximize occupancy levels and achieve the highest average rate possible.
- Maintain accurate information on and promote hotel facilities, including amenities and services.
- Process guest payments and handle cash transactions in accordance with accounting procedures.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to safety, security, and emergency procedures, and take prompt action to correct hazards.
- Operate front office telephone, computer systems, and equipment with proficiency.
- Complete registration process, input and retrieve information from computer, and confirm pertinent details with guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Must speak, read, and understand English.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent in a brand hotel is required.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate, ranging from $12-13 per hour, based on experience.
- Full-time hours available, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
