Key responsibilities include coordinating and inspiring the Food and Beverage staff to deliver outstanding products and service, fostering strong working relationships within the department and with other hotel teams, and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of all aspects of operation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures, interviewing, hiring, and training staff, and ensuring proper cleanliness and maintenance of all F&B equipment and areas.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by setting a positive example and promptly addressing guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
  • Foster strong working relationships within Food and Beverage and other hotel departments.
  • Move throughout the facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
  • Evaluate cost-effectiveness of all aspects of operation.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
  • Interview, hire, and train staff in the procedures and techniques of Food and Beverage for the efficient operation of the outlet.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness, use, repair of all F&B equipment and closet/storage areas.

Physical Demands:

  • Grasp, lift, carry or transport up to 40 pounds and operate various food and beverage equipment.
  • Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • ~3 years' experience in food & beverage, culinary, event management or related professional area preferred.
  • Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
  • Food Handlers Certification required.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Basic mathematical skills to prepare financial reporting.
