TAP Engineering is looking for a Senior RF Engineer who is passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to the development of advanced RF components and systems. This role requires a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment where their expertise is crucial.


The Senior RF Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing, analyzing, and developing high-power RF components and systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Test Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or a related technical field).
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph clearance.
  • A minimum of 7 years of engineering experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in radar design, analysis, and/or testing.
  • Proficiency in RF and/or analog circuit layout and packaging.
  • Experience in antenna design for high-power applications.
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST).
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or a related technical field).
  • Experience with schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium).
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and design, as well as common electronics assembly processes.
  • Ability to develop electronics test requirements, plans, and procedures at both the system and component levels.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on the current background investigation, as well as successful completion of a full-scope polygraph. The U.S. Government will conduct clearance and polygraph processing.
