Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify technological opportunities across the NC3 Enterprise, collaborating with industry, DoD mission partners, and academic institutions, while providing tailored recommendations for NEC SE&I.
  • Conduct comprehensive mission engineering studies to inform decisions that enhance capabilities and assess performance impacts on NC3 systems.
  • Deliver expert knowledge on high-level communication systems, including terrestrial and satellite technologies, to support the NC3 Enterprise.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, studies, and documentation (charts, graphs, presentations) related to engineering and threat impact assessments for the development and maintenance of NC3 systems.
  • Assess emerging technologies and innovations to formulate technical recommendations that uphold the integrity and continuity of operations in line with evolving NC3 requirements.
  • Provide specialized technical expertise in NC3 communication systems, focusing on signal propagation, modeling and simulation, testing and design, and system development.
Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Education: Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Experience: Over 10 years of relevant experience in RF technical expertise, systems design analysis, and implementation through technical reports, presentations, and training
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and execute tasks independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with NC3 requirements, operations, and procedures, along with a proven ability to prepare NC3 analyses, documentation, and reports.
  • Ability to apply principles, methods, and knowledge of NC3 systems effectively.

Benefits:

  • Apogee offers two medical plans, including a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, as well as dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and various types of paid leave.
  • The base salary for this position ranges from $129,000 - $216,000 across the U.S., with variations based on specific work locations and dependent on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
