We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Records Information Specialist I to join our team at Service Corporation International. Key Responsibilities- Record Review and Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of property records, contracts, and legal documents to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Data Entry and Management: Enter and manage critical information into our database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Problem-Solving and Reconciliation: Apply problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies between multiple record sources.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Perform quality reviews of completed reconciliation work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Workload Management and Reporting: Manage workload and provide summary reports to management as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or relevant field of study preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years applicable work experience in an area requiring strong attention to detail, such as auditing contracts and financial records.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and highly detail-oriented with a careful eye for quality control and presentation of work.
This role requires a professional work environment with shared workspaces in close proximity to coworkers. Occasional travel may be required for a week at a time. Professional dress is required.
Physical DemandsThis role requires physical effort, including manual dexterity, and the ability to ascend/descend step-ladders to retrieve files from ground floor and top shelves of vaults. Keen vision is required to read historical documents/images and obtain key pieces of information.
CompensationThe salary for this role is $19 - $22 per hour based on experience.
